Dynamic response data such as time histories, frequency response curves or PSD curves are calculated only for user defined measures. Measures must be created to get this type of data out of a Creo Simulate Dynamic study. A review of the modal analysis results is a good way to determine where measures should be added.
Simple measures such as displacement, velocity and acceleration will calculate and run very quickly. If you ask for maximum or minimum over the model then Creo Simulate will need to calculate this data at every plotting grid point and this will increase run time. If you ask for stress, strain or failure index data Creo Simulate will need to calculate full stress results at each time or frequency step. This will increase run time significantly, sometimes by orders of magnitude.
