Preloaded Bolt Joint

The preload stress in the bolt can sometimes have a significant impact of the stiffness of the joint. This may also change the stress distribution around the joint area or the prying on the bolt. Simulation of the bolt stress is sometimes necessary to get the proper boundary conditions between parts.
